We appreciate the offers by the Canadian public to
assist those in Haiti
affected by the earthquake. The best way for Canadians to help is to
donate money - not clothing or food - to experienced humanitarian
organizations.
Canadians are invited to consult the DFAIT web site at: http://www.international.gc.ca/humanitarian-humanitaire/earthquake_seisme_haiti.aspx
for a list of such organizations as well as information on how the
Government of Canada responds to natural disasters abroad, and for
further details on how Canadians and Canadian companies can help.
