Ed Holder joined in with local residents celebrating Colombian Independence
Day in Greenway Park

Ed Holder was joined by other local elected representatives when he
announced funding for affordable housing for low-income and disabled

Ed Holder was delighted to join residents of the
Riverside Retirement Residence for a very special event.
Canada Day was celebrated with the official unveiling of a Canadian flag
which was flown on the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill. The flag
measures 7 feet 3 inches by 14 feet 7 inches and is changed daily. As
a sign of respect the flag must not touch the ground.
Ed also enjoyed meeting several of the 25 Veteran’s who
reside at Riverside Residence and presenting them with certificates thanking
them for their service to Canada.
Ed Holder MP London West was joined by Chris Bentley MPP
London West, Susan Eagle Councillor (Ward 9) as well as Controller’s Gina
Barber and Gord Hume to hand out birthday cake to London West residents at
the Optimist Sports Complex. The celebrations were sponsored by the
Byron Optimist Club.
Ed Holder, joined Deeq Abdi President of the
African Community Council of London and family and friends for a
community picnic in Springbank park celebrating not only Canada Day, but
also Independence Day for Somalia, Ghana, Rwanda and Burundi.
Delicious dishes from Somalia and Ethiopia were enjoyed by all attendees and
well as Ethiopian coffee.
