·Our troops in
Afghanistan have served with distinction and now, as the combat
mission ends, it is time to say thank you. The Royal
Canadian Legion launched the Welcome Home and Thank you to
the Troops Campaign. The Duchess of Kent Legion President
Bruce Gray invited Ed Holder to come and speak to the troops at
their event.
Ed Holder attended the MP Blake Richards charity hockey tournament
in the riding of Wild Rose (Alberta) and coached the Conservative MP
Team. Here he is with former NHLers Dennis Polonich &
Sheldon Kennedy.
Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of
National Revenue and Ed Holder, MP, London West
visited the London Regional Children's Museum, to promote the
Children's Arts Tax Credit. This new tax credit, passed in Budget
2011, is available to parents whose children participate in
artistic, cultural, recreational, and developmental programs.

Ed Holder spoke at a reception hosted by Tom Whealy
for the Women’s National Rowing Team whom have just
departed for the World Championship. The 18 women
are heavily involved with their training and will
represent Canada at the next Olympics in London
(England).
